Natural Product Expo Asia 2011

The 9th Natural Products Expo (NPEA 2011) will take place at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre Hall 1 from 25 to 27 August 2011. This edition of the show will showcase more than 5,000 types of quality exhibits ranging from food & beverage, dietary supplement, natural and raw ingredients, cosmetics and skin care products, to spa facilities and supplies from over 200 international and local exhibitors. To further enhance the leading status of NPEA in the region, a number of content-rich educational events will be held concurrently during this three days show.

The organizers continue to partner up with chefs and speakers. Ms So Man Wan (Club O) and Ms Lee Wai Ling (Ling Lee) will return to the show again, delivering the topics “Great Food for Summer Days” and “The Secret of Young Forever” respectively. Ms Anita Cheung from i-Detox will demonstrate how “superfoods” can incorporate into the daily diet to boost energy, and to support detoxification, immunity and overall health. Furthermore, interesting topics like “Why eat raw?” and “Eat Fat Look Thin” will be covered by Organic Land and Jireh International respectively at Healthy Kitchen.

The Thai Spa Association will showcase not only different kinds of spa products and facilities including mud spa, essential oils, aromatherapy, ingredients, etc., but will also conduct the open forum “Culture and Traditional Natural Thai Products and Therapy”. Mr. Jeff Crowther from the US - China Health Product Association will conduct an in-depth analysis on “Understanding China's Developing Dietary Supplement Industry”.

Various speakers will gather at the NutriCosmetic Summit Asia and at Nutracon Asia 2011,which will be staged on 24 August, covering a broad spectrum of practical information including market overview and analysis, research and development, science and technology, consumer behavior, product development, market opportunities and more. Nutracon Asia 2011 provides new insights to all industrial players in natural, organic and health products. Four individual workshops will be held: Functional Food & Beverage, Dietary Supplement, Cosmetic Regulations and Beauty & Wellness as well as Organic Certification.
